Panic attacks are…. to be blunt…… SHIT. I think that summarises them perfectly.

For starters, the symptoms are violent & frightening. Then come the ‘am I having a heart attack’ or ‘am I going crazy’ thoughts…. then the urge to run without fully understanding why…. & ultimately confusion, embarrassment & shame. Everything about panic is EXHAUSTING.

The course

I experienced my first panic attack in 2012 & as a result, became obsessed with not only learning how to master them but also how to embrace them.. (Hint – this is the key).

My second book ‘F**K I THINK I’M DYING: How I Learned to Live with Panic was published in May 2021 & since publication, I’ve been inundated with requests about a course or a guide.

I decided to create the course ‘How to Manage Panic Attacks’ because it’s something that 2012 Claire would’ve been desperate for, so I did it not only for her but for anyone whose life is impacted by panic.
(It doesn’t have to be so hard, I promise).

This course is intended to arm the reader with as much knowledge as possible while being straightforward & easy to absorb. So that when panic strikes he/she/they have the tools needed to stabilise

What will you learn?

WHAT a panic attack is – the purpose of one, the chemicals produced & the evolutionary uses of
the physical symptoms. (This is the foundation of recovery. The more we understand about a
condition, the less overwhelming it becomes).

WHY a panic attack occurs – the ‘panic trick,’ a miscommunication between the Amygdala & the
rational brain, (& why this is SO important). We will also focus on the panic cycle & specific

HOW to manage a panic attack – both in the short & long term. The ultimate goal is to take the
fear out of panic. This will enable you to live your life secure in the knowledge that you CAN
handle panic if it strikes.

– The therapy used to reduce panic attacks, by deliberately triggering
them. How can this work for you? We will create your own customised plan.

Before I order for family, just wondering how long is this course? More of a workbook? Would you suggest it for my daughter in her early 20s and prepping to get her first apartment while dealing with anxiety and depression?

It’s roughly 60 minutes & covers panic attacks only (not anxiety or depression). So it might not be a good fit for your daughter.

I’m interested in this online course. I have been plagued with panic attacks for 29 years. I only now get them at night and my trigger is medication (any medication). I will wake in the night thinking whatever I have taken is harming me. Would this online course be able to help with this? I would like to say after listening to your latest book on audiobooks I have been able to change my thought process during these attacks. I am going through the menopause and the introduction of oestrogen/progesterone/testosterone has fed my panic attacks.

Hi Sasha, I’m so sorry to hear that you’ve struggled with panic attacks for so long. From my experience, panic ‘latches onto things’ that usually relate to control. So in your case ‘i’m afraid that X medication is going to hurt me or make me lose control.’ I think the course could indeed help you.
